RBT23 Europe is an event designed for senior retail banking and payments leaders focused on customer experience and product/service delivery. The programme addressed both the revenue and cost side of banking activities. Representative titles of executives attended included: head of retail banking, head of security, chief banking officer, chief security officer, channel strategy officer, digital banking executive, chief credit officer, head of experience design, payment executive, payment transformation officer, product development executive, head of branch distribution, head of self-service, customer experience manager and omnichannel manager.
Brief:
To design a conference set for 400 delegates, an important part of the brief was that the room needed to be divided to create two separate plenaries. For the 2023 event, Showcase was also contracted to provide exhibition services and layout for exhibitors.
Solution:
Showcase created dual rear projection surfaces which operated as one system during the opening plenary, which then split into two for the two separate plenaries. The up-lighting and stage wash lighting for the set and the audio solution had to be used both as one and independently. The same applied to the vision equipment, each section had its own operator, so it could work in unison and then independently.
Showcase also created 15 standardised exhibition stands and four special builds. This also included the organisation the power and graphics. Showcase’s own online event portal was used to allow exhibitors to order their stands and furniture. Their web-shop portal can be tailored to any event making, so making the ordering and management process more efficient.
Showcase project managed the entire Confex, to ensure that exhibitors had a seamless connection from their devices to the screens. The onsite team also included power engineers, who were on hand to help with any issues if required.
Delivery:
