The grounds of Kenilworth Castle after dark, are opened up as a winter fairytale of light, colour and sound. Strings of lanterns are laced through the boughs of trees and fairy lights behind leaves leading to an enchanting magical wonderland for friends and family to enjoy.
Brief
We were approached by English Heritage to provide technical production for their Enchanted Kenilworth Castle Event running over 9 nights in December 2017. This included the supply of architectural lighting, flame effects and a hedge maze for the castle grounds

Delivery
Working across 4 days, a strong team of 12 was headed up by one of Showcase AVi’s project managers to install all the equipment.
On the 1st set up day the team were faced with 12” of snow but the Showcase team over come all challenges, the equipment was installed and ready in advance of the opening night.
During the 9 nights we provided a lighting technician and electrician to oversee the safe operation of equipment and power distribution
All equipment was de-rigged after the last night by a team of 14 technicians, electricians and local crew.
Outcome
The event ran smoothly and sparkled throughout the 9 days. The client was very happy and the team were successful in delivering another great job.
