About the event:
CWIEME Berlin is the only one-stop shop for the international coil winding, electric motor, transformer, generator and e-mobility supply chain. Over three days, over 6,000 seasoned engineers and professionals specialising in procurement, research and development, and production management converged to discover and acquire products and services from a wide-ranging selection of over 600 suppliers offering components, raw materials, and process machinery.
Brief:
To build on the success of the two stages we created from 2022 whilst utilising the elements that had been kept in storage, whilst rebranding the stages with the new 2023 branding elements.
Solution:
Showcase reused as much of the theatre build elements from the 2022 ConFex, whilst rebranding the entire stage with the new print and CNC cut elements.
They also built both exhibition stages and the feature areas which contained LED screens, digital signage & audio systems. The main stage features included a branded 3D LED-lit central logo.
On top of this Showcase designed and built all the walling, set and stages with the two feature stage spaces. Six large touchscreen totems were designed and built to replicate large iTablets to allow delegates to swipe for different content.
In the Activational area, they designed within the client’s brand guidelines, the large CONNECT CWIEME letters which were seen by all delegates as they entered the building when they registered.
Delivery:
Showcase stored the 2022 elements, to help their client Hyve comply with their E.S.G. and sustainability policies. Showcase refreshed any sections that needed it and then updated the two stages with the 2023 branding as well as introducing new elements such as the Cogs on the main stage and the “Connect” lettering in the registration area.
Showcase’s Project Manager managed their onsite team of 30 technicians and carpenters ensuring the event was delivered ahead of schedule to allow for rehearsals.
