Showcase Supplies 19m Indoor LED Mesh Screen at Audi West London
This Summer signalled the launch of one of Europe’s tallest indoor LED mesh screen.
The Sytner Group, operators of the world’s largest Audi car showroom in West London, appointed Showcase to design, supply and install a permanent LED mesh column that spans the entire height of the building at their flagship site, adjacent to the elevated section of the M4.
The screen tops 19m high by 6m wide. The mesh panels are SMD 15mm pixel pitch and run a intelligent multi-function operating system to the screen to display content on any part of the wall.
The brief given to Showcase and composed by the Sytner Group was to design a technical solution located in the middle of the building that would become the heartbeat of the showroom. The central column incorporates a dramatic lighting effect that will display the brand’s colours – a glow that will can be seen from all areas of the building and at night time outside on the M4.
Showcase worked with the Sytner Group to further develop the initial brief; the final technology that Showcase supplied has allowed the screen to have multiple inputs and content directed through the LED panels, therefore allowing more than one stream of content to be played out at any given time across the different floors.
