The Retail Week Awards celebrate excellence in the retail sector. For 25 years, these awards have continued to create a platform to celebrate the creativity and innovation that this great industry is renowned for.
The Awards provide companies with the ultimate platform for industry-wide recognition and celebration, from boardroom leaders to digital stars and store managers.
We are in a multi-year contract with the client and they wanted to supersede the success of 2019. They wanted a completely different design and theme for the afterparty and the spaces to have a slightly more edgy feel, but not forgetting the ceremony’s long-standing history.
As befits the renowned Grosvenor House Hotel and its iconic Great Room, the spaces we designed for the main awards, drinks and afterparty needed to not only match the client’s brief but produce an awards ceremony that suited its glamorous surroundings.
For the main awards, the stage was designed to incorporate the brands’ new colours and stylistics. To create an energetic feel to the gloss-finished stage, we designed a laser front projection, with a full D&B sound system and moving head lighting. Our creative input was also utilised in the camera and content management.
For the drinks our design included a light box backdrop, then it was all change for the afterparty. Our creative vision for this included designer furniture, bespoke bars including a circular bar and a reflecting floating light installation and ball pit.
Another successful event for this on-going client. As ever for these gala dinners and award ceremonies, installation was through the day for the evening event and the dismantle totalled a 24 hour split shift.
