Live, virtual or hybrid, the same rules apply to help make them go with a bang! Read on.

Go the extra mile

Restrictions have been lifted, event venues around the world have reopened. We recently headed off to Rome for World Retail Congress, an event we had started to create in 2019, but due to Covid it had been postponed twice – so we of course had to go large on the creativity and technology.

Here's what we did

Go big on content

We don’t just create engaging events, we create engaging content too. So much so, that we have our own dedicated content creation department. Our skill set ranges from full film production to supporting presentation decks; though most importantly we ensure that the content we create is appropriate, engaging and produced to the highest of technical standards.

Our content creation is not limited to live events, we produce stand alone films for marketing promotions and webinars too. Last month we were out in the Italian Vineyards shooting a promo film and we have just been contracted for a series of webinar films for NHS dental services.

Go clever

Not one to blow our own trumpets, but we’re rather proud of the solution we came up with for our client BlueFort. Last year we created their first Security Live event – it was such a success that they came up with the idea of doing four of them this year. To make effective use of time and money our solution was to stream from the client’s offices and repurpose the ‘bespoke’ streaming platform from last year’s event.

We also employed our own streaming platform Event@ which can be used with our clever event software EVENTalytics which gives you invaluable insights into attendance.

Go to great venues

We’ve been out and about at two of London’s most historic venues. They are packed with character but both have been very cleverly repurposed into venues that meet today’s exacting requirements for logistics, exhibitors and visitors alike.

Old Billingsgate

Up until 1982 this beautiful Victorian venue was a fish market, but now it’s one of the capital’s top venues. The good news is that the 50 years of ice that was used to keep the fish fresh has been removed. There are three spaces available, each waiting for Showcase or you to put your own mark on them.

Truman Brewery

Used to be London’s biggest brewery, now an iconic event venue. For over 20 years this East London venue has been home to some truly memorable exhibitions, conferences and dinners. It’s a blank canvas, something we at Showcase love as it gives us the opportunity to let our imaginations run wild.
