Showcase receives it’s 3rd BSI Accreditation – OHSAS 18001
We are pleased to announce that Showcase, incorporating the department Showcase AVi has received its third BSI accreditation. Showcase is now certified to OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety standard.
Following several months working on objectives and setting out benchmarks the first OHSAS audit ran smoothly. Showcase were able to demonstrate to the auditor that they understood the importance of managing Occupational Health and Safety and had the relevant systems, procedures and processes in place to help us meet BSI’s strict criteria.
Ken Robson, Commercial Director who led the project at Showcase to gain certification, comments “Over the past few years Showcase’s business has grown exponentially, we can now have up to 60 men on site on any given day as well as a growing office – we therefore felt it was important that we got our H&S in order and the best way to do this was to work towards the recognised OHSAS standard. We already successfully adhere to ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental management and believe these types of standards to be the best guide for how our systems should operate.”
