We were thrilled to have hosted ‘Retail Connected 2021’ through our online events platform EVENT@ last week (26-30 April).
Created by Retail Week, Retail Week Live, Be Inspired and World Retail Congress – all part of Ascential, the five-day free virtual event featured over 30+ hours of free content that in turn connected brands and retailers from all key markets of the world. Showcase worked closely with the Ascential team, tailoring their entry level EVENT@ platform to produce a bespoke solution to enable registration, the agenda, live stream stage, polling & Q&A, on demand content area, networking area, speakers profiles and insights news area.
As well as ensuring the front end delegate experience was engaging and easy-to-access, Showcase worked behind the scenes with the client to ensure delegate data/information was seamlessly connected to their own CMS system. Much like a ‘live event’, the production team were also on hand throughout the event to ensure it ran smoothly, managing server traffic and publishing on-demand content once the live stream had finished.
Showcase’s newly launched EVENTaylitics software was used to provide real-time stats on attendees and viewing statistics, this was a real game changer for the client who historically had to wait for data to be anaylised after the event.

It further allows to measure attendance and determine if the event has returned a full ROI, which is incredibly valuable information required when strategically planning for future virtual events.”
