A two-day virtual event held by Retail Trust During Mental Health Awareness Week. Retail Trust, hosted this virtual event #forthefour to champion the health of people in retail. Experts and retail leaders came together to discuss how they led their businesses and teams through this challenging time and how they’re providing hope for the future. The event was filmed and streamed during Lockdown from our Live London Studio at Bankside Hotel.
Brief
After successfully delivering this the #forthefour event in October 2021 Showcase were commissioned to create film and video content for the two-day virtual event. They were tasked with filming speakers on set and via remote dial-in, as well as the production management, content creation and producing the live stream event.
Filmed during Lockdown the event and production had to be managed to meet all COVID compliance during Lockdown restrictions.
Solution
Presenters were filmed on stage in Showcase’s live London studio at Bankside Hotel in front of a 7m x 3m backdrop of branded graphics, using Showcase’s furniture collection.
Filmed with two broadcast cameras, the live stream was streamed through the client’s own website.
Delivery
Showcase delivered all technical production to their usual high standards, coordinating the film and production seamlessly. The event was a huge success which was quantified by the client’s stats based on the previous event held in October. They saw a:
- 38% increase Registered users
- 106 new businesses represented in registrations
- 182% increase on total page view
- 26% increase on total viewing time
