Brief:
To build on the success of 2022. Showcase was briefed to design, build and provide technology equipment and support for seven content stage areas, all with a unique factor. Support and build exhibition stands, print graphics, exhibition power, furniture, AV for 110 sponsors and exhibitors. Create engaging opening video stings, transition videos, film the 7 content stages, space plan the exhibition liaising with the venue to discuss catering locations and lastly to mastermind 3KG of confetti being launched in the main stage for the awards section.
Solution:
Main Stage
For the main stage Showcase flew a 16m wide edge blended screen with four Panasonic projectors, as well as providing live camera relay and recording. They created a rear entrance to the stage where presenters were mic’d up, when the speakers walked out on the stage, they stood in front of a big animation on the screen, Showcase also created special lighting effects, to give them a ‘Rock Star’ effect when they appeared on stage.
Showcase created the opening sting content and transition and walk in videos. They also filmed the event for post event editing. The stage was further brought to life with confetti canons, dynamic lighting, 48SQM HD screen, print elements provided by Showcase and design-led furniture from their own boutique furniture collection.
Stage 2
Showcase created a rustic design with an OSB boarded stage, they provided large 16:9 projection screen, moving head lighting, ambient lighting and haze. The set design was built around a large perspex event logo, built into a faux scaffold structure with plants and foliage.
Stage 3-6
For these smaller content stage, Showcase delivered 6m printed walls and 82” mounted plasma screens, stage furniture and lectern, sound systems, seamless video switching filming and comfort monitoring.
Tech Stage
This stage was only added to Showcase’s remit two days before Showcase started work on this event. Thank to Showcase’s adaptability and technical expertise, they were able to create a dynamic curved LED screen 5m x 2m with a 2.6mm pitch, as well as providing the audio system, filming, moving heads, haze and stage furniture in time for the opening day.
Exhibition
Ahead of the event, Showcase space planned via auto CAD for both the stages and exhibition, this ensured aisles / stand numbers and positioning gave the optimum ROI for both client and exhibitors.
Showcase built exhibition booths inclusive of power plotting and supply, from 1:1 start-ups, to standard 3m x 2m to premium booths. They created a dedicated web portal, where exhibitors could order furniture and graphics, this element was managed via a separate dedicated exhibition team with over 300 print elements.
Showcase’s technical team provided two large 16:9 ration projection screens, powered by 4K laser Panasonic projectors to relay live camera content from main stage, sponsor messaging, video playback and exhibition information.
Within the exhibition space two 20m flown trusses were flown which housed moving head lighting, LED coloured flood lighting and a large audio sound system, designed to fill the exhibition space with ambient music and lighting enhanced by the DJ and lighting effects. Large Insurtech Insights gobos slowly moved around the exhibition via moving heads to provide brand awareness.
