brief

To design and built a high impact environment to represent the brand and deliver a high level of ambience and audience engagement.

However, Showcase was given a few guide points from the client, the main thrust of the brief being to push the creative boundaries, providing they kept within the brand guidelines.

solution

Insurtech wanted to go big and impactful for the event, so Showcase designed a large-scale screen for the main stage to display intense high-octane opening videos and animations based around the client’s brand. Portraying the brand on the main stage and stage 2 was a top-of-the-list requirement. They utilised large scale projection blend, flown laser projectors, print backdrops and live camera relay to screen & record the content that was relayed to the exhibition.

The Main stage had 20 moving heads and gobos along with haze to create lighting effects and ambience.

Large screen content was created in the form of dramatic opening stings video, walk up animations and background layers. Voice of god announcements were pre-recorded to start the event and welcome host and CEO to stage.

Showcase also created five breakout spaces ranging from large scale projection and jungle themes for stage 3. For stage 4, which was a five-minute pitch stage, Showcase used light bulb imagery to reflect ‘ping a light bulb moment’. They also created sponsor-led areas in different parts of the venue.

Showcase installed 24 moving head lighting and haze in the exhibition breakout spaces, they liaised with the venue to reduce the lighting in order to create the best ambience for both the live event, after party DJ’s and live artists.

Finally, Showcase was responsible for the presenter prep area and autocue, as well as the project management for the entire event.
