The European Autumn Gas Conference is held annually in cities across Europe. 2015 was the conferences’ 30th year and was held in Geneva.

EAGC is Europe’s longest running commercial gas conference, and widely recognised as the premier event for senior executives and management teams from the world’s largest gas and energy companies.

Renowned for its interactive format, the EAGC facilitates high calibre business to business networking and innovative audience participation.

Brief

Thanks to our ongoing relationship with the Event Organisers of EAGC we were asked to tender for the AV contract for EAGC, we were only too thrilled to submit a bid.

The contract was for a full audio and lighting for the conference, as well as set, stage, PA and video relay for their Traders Day sessions and a total AV solution for the Gala Dinner.

Solution

For the main conference we supplied a double layer curved set with hi-res graphic wrap material. As well as all staging furniture, lecterns, 7 comfort monitors and hides.

Vision was provided through the use of 3mm SMD 6m wide LED screen. All content was run through a 6 machine deck system for speaker previews and layered into the matrix video system. Twin camera position.

Audio – Full D&B line array system with a 10 UHF radio mic rack system and in-ear stage monitoring.

Lighting – All LED fixtures with mobbing head for stage lighting effects to set and stage wash lighting.

Traders Day – we supplied a dedicated engineer monitoring set, stage, PA and multiple video relay screens

Gala-Dinner – A high end HD projection for sponsors logos, with LED lighting and D&B audio sound system was supplied for all for the evenings special invitation dinner.

Delivery

We acted as AV consultant, which including designing the full working drawings and visuals for the 3 day conference and Gala dinner (which was held at a different venue). This involved site visits to Geneva and detailed production meetings.

On behalf of the client we managed all freight forwarding for all suppliers and international Carnet into Switzerland in our dedicated trucks.

Our team of 15 Technicians delivered the event on site and installation was completed in one day.

The event was managed by the Director of Showcase and show calling was carried out by our own production team.

Outcome

The event was a great success with all kit installed seamlessly in the one day.

The client has now begun discussions with us about the 2016 conference, due to be held at The Hauge, Netherlands.
