Venue:
Event type: Confex
About the event:
Money20/20 is one of the biggest events in the Fintech sector and part of Ascential’s portfolio of global events, where Episode 6, a leading payment solution was an exhibitor.
Brief:
Episode 6 asked Showcase to design and build their 8.5m x 7m space-only stand, which had four open sides. There was already an exhibition stand design in place which Episode 6 wanted to recreate at Money20/20. This design comprised of a tall central structure with two arches extending from either side. Under these arches were a tall poser table and stools, where meetings could be held.
Episode 6 provided them with detailed images to enable Showcase to recreate the stand. The client also required storage space on the stand.
Solution:
Using the images of the previous exhibition stand design, the creative team at Showcase produced a set of design visuals and CAD plans for Episode 6 to approve. The client asked for slight variations in the design, mainly because they required more storage than the original design.
To ensure that the stand had maximum impact, Showcase made the central structure four meters high, with screens positioned on the outside of each side of the extending arch that played marketing content.
Thanks to Showcase’s boutique event furniture collection, they could offer Episode 6 an interesting furniture solution. The client also asked Showcase to take care of the production of the printed elements. They collated all the print-ready artwork and advised on the technical specifications. Showcase mapped out all the electrical requirements for the stand, offered a range of suitable flooring solutions, and provided the stand furniture.
Delivery:
Episode 6’s exhibition stand took two days to build, all according to the agreed budget and specifications. Showcase’s on-site AV technicians ensured that all of the content was displayed properly and was in the correct format.
Showcase used a BeMatrix system to create the skeleton structure and stretch canvas graphic print that displayed Episode 6’s artwork. To ensure that the exhibition stand was fully branded, Showcase applied the company logo to the welcome desk.
An additional request was made during the exhibition; Episode 6 asked if it was possible to have plants on their stand. They wanted the plants to be placed in all four corners, so it was important that they complemented each other. Due to the timeframe, Showcase could not order them in, so they used their initiative and asked an on-site supplier with whom they had a great relationship if they could supply the plants. Luckily, they could oblige.
