About the event:
Money20/20 is one of the biggest events in the Fintech sector and part of Ascential’s portfolio of global events, where Dgpays, a leading Turkish Fintech company was an exhibitor.
Brief:
Dgpays commissioned Showcase to create a 3m x 3m stand for them. The stand was L-shaped with canvas walls that could be printed on. Dgpays also wanted a storage cupboard to help keep their stand tidy and presentable. A wall-mounted screen and furniture (two stools and a poseur table) were also requested.
Solution:
This was a last-minute commission (2.5 weeks before the event), but Showcase did not have a problem with it because even though they had missed the plan submission deadline, the team’s relationship with the Money20/20 organisers led to an extension to the deadline for stand build plans.
Showcase’s creative department produced initial visual designs that perfectly captured the client’s vision; the company’s website graphics were used as the initial inspiration for the design. This first stage was then refined over the following client meetings. A further use of these meetings was to keep Dgpays informed on the status of the exhibition stand design and build.
Showcase drew on their boutique exhibition furniture collection for the stools and table. The remit also included the production of the printed elements, Showcase collated all the print-ready artwork and advised on the technical specifications. Showcase mapped out all the electrical requirements for the stand.
Delivery:
Dgpays stand was built over two days, according to the agreed designs and budget. Showcase’s team of AV technicians ensured that the client content displayed correctly and was properly formatted. They also printed graphic walls, which employed a tension frame system, using the client’s artwork. To ensure that the floor space was used most efficiently, Showcase designed a lockable corner cupboard, which provided a secure overnight storage system.
