Brief:
As part of Showcase’s ongoing relationship with Hyve, they were recommended internally by the Operations Director, to design and build walling, set, stages, LED screens, digital signage and audio.
Hyve asked Showcase to be mindful of budgeting and sustainability.
Solution:
Showcase designed and installed the two main speaker stages, digital signage and touch screen totems. They also built both exhibition stages and the feature areas which contained LED screens, digital signage & audio systems. The mains stage features included a branded 3D LED lit central logo.
On top of this Showcase designed and built all the walling, set, stages with the two feature stage spaces. Six large touch screen totems were designed and built to replicate large iTablets to allow delegates to swipe for different content.
Outside of the exhibition centre, Showcase designed and created pallet walling on castors which allowed them to be easily moved and repositioned as required in different formats through the event. This solution created a rustic looking space within the catering sections.
In the Activational area, they designed within the client’s brand guidelines, the large CWIEME letters which were seen by all delegates as they entered the building when they registered.
Delivery:
This three-day event involved: four days of install and 1.5 days de-rig.
Showcase provided a dedicated project manager, an eight-person set & stage install team, graphic engineer and an audio technician for both stages during live days. Showcase also managed all the digital signage.
In response to the sustainability aspect of the brief, Showcase is storing the feature build elements for the 2023 event.
