We’ve teamed up with two organisations to help us achieve our goal of creating more sustainable events.

CleanHub has built a global platform for global waste collection and has set us the goal of recovering 1,320KG of ocean bound plastic. Plus they’ve partnered us with ecoBali, a Waste Collection & Recycling project in Kuta Utara, Indonesia.

Ecolibrium on the other hand has been helping us track the impact our travel has on the planet.

Our 3rd contract win for LGA

Nothing beats that feeling of winning another piece of business from an established client. That’s what happened recently for us with LGA. We headed up to Harrogate where we created a variety of spaces within the innovation hub: namely LGA campaigns & conversation area, the Innovation Zone, including the sponsors Newton’s coffee bar and three content stages. The brief stated that the spaces needed to flow, represent the brand and of course be creative.

It’s all in the design

Design is not just about making your event look great, it actually has an important business role as well. The key components are: Space, layout, furnishings, stages, lighting, colours, patterns, logos and advertising & marketing material.

Event design is not just about the visual, it’s about zoning, space planning, the flow of people. For example, clever zoning of specific areas ensures that guests can easily access parts of the event they wish to visit, making navigation of the event smooth and seamless. Another element of event design involves the flow of speakers and the overall schedule of the event. While this is not something the attendees process visually, it’s a crucial bit that shapes their overall experience of the event.

Great design is a big factor in the overall event success, it should convey the brand’s message through tactical creation and placement of assets across different channels.
