Combining chic with mud, fitness with humour and hope with emotion, Cancer research events have made a profound impact on outdoor charity events. Given the chance to be a part that, how could we say no.
We were initially approached to provide services for events based in the South East, however the contract became a national re-occurrence after impressing them with our service and products. Hugely successful stage design, PA system and overall event presentation, now a prerequisite of Showcase, gave the event producers an easy choice when using us time and again.
In locations from Margate to Carlisle, the standard was consistently high, despite different conditions, changes in landscape and assorted stage set up designs.
Feedback from the National Event Managers at CR UK has been nothing but positive and comments have gone from “the best team they’ve ever had”, “a breath of fresh air bringing the corporate skill set to the outdoor market.”
Continued work in the outdoor events space is something that have been looking to push on with in recent times. The link with Cancer research UK gave us the chance to really refine our ability to cater for outdoor events no matter what the weather or conditions. The equipment we use and the manner in which it is transported, assembled, delivered and stored all allow for both quick installation and high performance.
Showcase will look to push this partnership into further regions in the UK, benefiting both Cancer Research and ourselves in production and keeping costs down. Not many other companies can confess to being able to produce all areas of the event production process.
In addition to glowing feedback, Showcase have been given the green light to continue the good work for Cancer Research UK and the events they put on around the country.
