Brief
As part of an on-going relationship with Cancer Research UK, Showcase was commissioned to design the best audio system for the 30 Race For Life & Pretty Muddy events that took place over 2021. These races were scattered across the country and held over weekends. Sometimes there was more than one race occurring over a weekend, which required Showcase to dispatch multiple teams in different locations on the same day.
Solution
Showcase utilised a Logic Pro Audio CA and point source audio, Sennheiser wireless microphones and Yamaha digital desk with custom audio trigger from their collection of MacBook’s to fulfil the brief of providing a first class audio system. They managed the audio in various areas in each event, these included the main stage, public address and the all-important finish line.
Delivery
Showcase’s team of experts delivered 30 events countrywide. The overall sound solution included the delivery of PA systems for important instructions, as well as sound systems to deliver music and event entertainment to keep the participants and spectators motivated throughout. The team was responsible for the set-up, testing and remained on-site throughout the event to ensure sound quality for both spectators and participants alike.
